Graduates will be prepared to test for Certifications as both a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

A Medical Assistant career involves:

  • pointer Recording patients’ medical history and vital signs
  • pointer Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
  • pointer Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing.
